Panagbenga, Baguio City’s biggest event is just around the corner. Panagbenga is actually a local dialect which means “a season of blooming” and this month, flowers will bloom in the Summer Capital of the Philippines. The event showcases floral floats, native dances, street parades and band exhibitions. The festival starts on the first day of February and activities are held for over a month.
This is another good month for photographers who love taking colorful pictures. Baguio City will bloom this February and below is the official schedule of the Panagbenga Festival 2010.
